Founded in 2017 The Black Chamber Company is an experimental music and poetry project located in Montreal, Quebec. Composed of the ambient music composer, arranger and musician, Karim Amar, and the poet, Jeremy Valentine Freeman Ganem, the Black Chamber Company investigates the synthesis of music and poetry. The Black Chamber Company aspires to craft dramatic, ritualised art-objects that explore impressionistic, emotional and spiritual phenomena via the interplay of traditional poetries and ambient modernity.
